“There is absurdity and normalcy...order and chaos, and the space between is small.  I like to play in that space, but I never color within the lines.  Like Chinese football with thoughts and pigments.”

Bio

Justin Klein is a New York-based visual artist, illustrator and tattooist.  He honed his craft in graffiti, mural work and tattoo before pursuing a degree in fine art and officially starting his painting career.

Justin’s work is confrontational, exploring the extremes of the human condition as he sees it. His pieces are often figurative with elements of abstraction that explore themes of addiction, grotesque beauty, crisis, and redemption with a touch of dark humor. His unique style utilizes oil paint and spray paint on hand-crafted supports with collage components that are collected from his day-to-day wanderings.

Justin is currently pursuing his life of art making from a studio on Long Island he calls The Quarantine.
